Biography

Simply known as Queensley , Queensley Chukwudum was born in Jos, Plateau state, hails from Anambra State and is the third child, in a family of five. Born into a family of music lovers, she grew up as an addict listener to soft rock, country, pop, r&b, contemporary soul and jazz music. Influenced by artists and musicians such as Sting, Bryan Adams, Sarah Mclachlan, Madonna, Sade, Spice Girls, Enya, Whitney Houston Yanni, Patty Obassey, just to mention but a few, she has been able to sharpen her songwriting skills, allowing her write songs that cut across many song genres more especially the rock, soul and pop genres. She has been writing songs for about 20 years, writing songs that will positively inspire lives.

Being a songwriter and singer is one of the greatest blessings in my life, without music, I JUST DONT KNOW!

A graduate of Mathematics/Computer science, University of Minna Niger State and also a masters degree holder in Mathematics, University of Jos, Plateau State. She intends to take up a Ph.D program in Mathematics. Queensley loves imparting knowledge, this passion has driven her to take up lecturing in some higher institutions.

Queensley is married with four beautiful kids. She is indeed highly appreciative of the effort and support she has been receiving from her immediate and extended family members.

Her hobbies include reading, football, solving puzzles and watching documentaries.

God has been the Alpha and Omega, throughout my music journey, He alone deserves the praise!

Her first 3 singles Ever Classic, Get up and sing and Sweet mama, all written by Queensley, are soul inspiring songs that have a powerful underlying message of love and the healing that comes from music .
