Born and raised in Lagos, Michael Aboje Ogbe a.k.a PRYDE is a native of Benue State, Nigeria and clearly has a running passion for music. Though he started as a rap artist, Pryde soon discovered his unique voice and switched to singing. Pryde started his music career in 2002 and has improved ever since. His influences include Nate Dogg, Chris Cornell, Coldplay and Jay-Z. Pryde’s first track list was done in 2002 with an independent studio, when it failed to reach desired prospects, Pryde engaged the services of Intersection Media to rebrand and package him for the dynamic music industry. His album “Self-Titled” is due mid 2009.
